Ranked #1 Paralegal and Legal Reseacher WORLDWIDE!

"Providing professional service and expertise to enhance your success and increase your bottom line, allowing you to focus on growing your company while we take care of the everyday details."

Virtual Admin & Paralegal Services have merged with Paralegal Pros, LLC to combine over 30 years of workforce experience. Utilizing a virtual assistant is a low costing, effective way to get things done and still have a life outside of work! Passing the "buck" to another person for a low fee is only the beginning to the massive rewards offered.

Virtual Paralegals also offer a solution to Attorneys having to pay high hourly rates and benefits within the office. Now they can also offer their clients lower rates when agreeing to have a Paralegal handle their case research, writing, and other Attorney supervised tasks.

When you hire a Paralegal from them you will be getting not only professional work in return, but also be added to their vast social network. CEO, Heather Nelson-Gonzalez believes that working together and sharing contacts is the best way to keep this cycle going. "When a client of mine such as an investor, asks me for a contact connection to a broker, I don't hesitate. The two of them end up getting together and make positive business transactions. Then they both end up coming back to me for more virtual services. You can market future work without advertising up front..."

Working on sites such as Elance has been positive as well. Elance itself has some issues and needs to be reformatted, but the connections you can make working with other professionals is endless.

Paralegal Pros, LLC and Virtual Admin & Paralegal Services, LLC have been ranked #1 for all Paralegals and Legal Researchers WORLDWIDE for almost 1 year continuously. This is done by Elance feedback ratings, job ratios, job acceptance, etc... Together they tally up an average and when a client searches for a Paralegal it will be listed in order of rating. This is how you know who is the best and who is either no so professional or just starting out.

We are not endorsing Elance, but to maintain a ranking in a Global Outsourcing Service is remarkable.

State of Connecticut Charging Kids to get Support!

State of Connecticut
Implementation of Child Support Fees

State of Connecticut Website Says...

"Effective July 1, 2011, an annual fee of not more than $25 will be collected from payments sent to Connecticut child support recipients who receive at least $500 child support within the state fiscal year and meet other specific criteria.

Federal law requires that all states collect a $25 annual child support fee and forward it to the federal government.  Since 2007, Connecticut has paid the fees for all child support cases from its General Fund.  However, the recently-adopted 2011-12 state budget requires the fee to be deducted from support payments collected from non-custodial parents in an effort to achieve a balanced state budget while meeting federal requirements.  Custodial parents will be receiving a notification in the mail of this change."

Where do we draw the line?  This money is for the children.  Thousands of single parents don't even get child support payments and if they do it's  infrequently.  That $25 could be a pair of shoes or a book-bag for a kid.  I think this is ridiculous that the State has gone so low...

They just raised taxes AGAIN, including the tax on cigarettes and alcohol.  I don't smoke or drink but if they're making more money off of that, not to mention the other dozens of tax areas that were also increased, why not take this fee off the table?

Casey Anthony Trial vs. Nancy Grace & HLN...

So we all have an opinion on the Casey Anthony verdict right?  As a Paralegal I can work on many cases and some high profile ones without anyone ever knowing.  Lawyers are the ones who have to legally and make public records that they represented a client, not a Paralegal.  We do all the bulk of the work for the lawyers and no one really ever knows who we are...  With that said, I know what it's like on the inside.

I will admit I followed this trial VERY closely as a legal professional and a mother, I to had mixed feelings.  The media had her guilty before she was ever given a trial date.  I wonder what Nancy Grace will do now?  Who will she go after tomorrow?  I know she is a smart women and needs to make a living but sometimes she goes too far.  The media is a business and they market us just like everyone else. So people need to remember that and not always believe what they hear.  Though the attractive and sexy story the state told us and told us through the media made sense, it also didn't make sense.  Nancy Grace has always maintained this was a done deal, as I watched the verdict being announced, I wish I could see her face in a split screen with Casey's.  Now that would have been entertainment!
I may have been leaning slightly toward a manslaughter guilty verdict, but I know the jury had more information than all of us did and I also have legal experience and trial knowledge they don't have.  I was  shocked that they came back so fast with a not guilty verdict.  Even if a mistrial was likely I figured some days of arguing and discussion would go on.  This tells us a lot.  12 people of different backgrounds with little or no legal experience can sit there and say within a day that she is NOT GUILTY, then she isn't.  Remember it's decided by the evidence presented and must be convincing beyond a “reasonable doubt.”  What the jury sees and hears is used to determine the outcome of the case, and nothing else...

We were given an opportunity to see most of the evidence presented to the jury.  The jury has only their notes and admitted evidence to work with and  not a picture of Caylee next to each one.  Being a visual learner myself, I know persuasive it can be.  Looking at pictures and evidence and feeling it yourself brings a whole new meaning to a case.  There just was no evidence suggesting how this child died and that her mother did it.  Only that she is a very trouble woman who should not have had a child if she wanted to party all night.  I hope she gets help for her mental conditions.

All day people keep asking me if I agree with the verdict?  To there surprise I say YES 100%. One question I still have is after all this, where is the child's biological father?  Who is he?  I never once heard any talk on the media about him and why he was not a part of her life...
